Application Creation

An “Application” refers to a container or configuration for sending notifications and managing, storing, and optimising user and messaging data related to notifications.

The purpose of the application is to enable you to establish omni-channel communication for higher engagement and user retention through notifications across various devices and platforms.

How to Create An Application?

To send notifications, you must create an application.

The app is intended to serve a single project, which could involve multiple platforms like a website, iOS and Android mobile apps, and email notifications.

However, Advantus allows you to organise your configurations by creating multiple apps within an organization. It streamlines the process of managing your notifications and marketing campaigns, making it effortless and effective.

Further, for each application, you can customise notifications for different devices, channels, and platforms.

Let’s get started!

Step 1

Sign-in to Advantus and click on the “Setup Platform” button.

Step 2

To create an application, enter a name associated with your project.

Step 3

Once you've entered your application's name, click the "Done" button. This action will navigate you to the "Platform" window, where you can configure notifications for your application.

Step 4:

After you create an application, you can see the application in the “All Applications” window. From the same window, you can add more applications as per your requirements. Also, from the “Option” button, you can view, edit, and delete the application.

As mentioned in step 4, by clicking on the “Options” button, you can view, edit, or delete the application.

View Application

To set up notifications and manage, store, and optimise user and messaging data related to notifications.

Edit Application

To modify the name of an application, ensuring it is distinguishable for various projects and engagement campaigns.

Delete Application

To delete an application.

Note: Once you delete an application, you won’t be able to recover the data.
